Bruce- One other comment I'd like to make. My biggest "beef" I have is the fact that so many "christians" believe that a rated R movie is not OK for their kids but OK for them. I don't remember an age limit on the Ten Commandments. I understand some movies have a rated R rating and are still OK for viewing (ex: The Passion of the Christ), but many confessing "christians' watch movies with extreme nudity and sexual scenes and say, "After the kids went to bed", like that makes it OK! I guess I'll step down off of my soapbox for tonight, but had to say it again, sin has no age limit!!!

Bruce-I believe it was Andrew Fletcher who said, "Let me write the songs of a nation, I don't care who writes its laws." A most intense quote to the power of the arts on our lives and very true to today's society. What people talk about and believe is greatly learned from radio, tv and movies. There's no doubt that Hollywood and Washington for that matter know how powerful and connected the arts are to persuasion and influence.

Dr. Ashford, Have you seen the Usual Suspects? I'd be curious about your thoughts on that film if you have seen it.
Anyway, great six part series you've got here. Lots of food for thought.
