I've been saved for quite a while and have heard often, even recently the great debate of "if God in Christ has already reconciled us to Himself" then He has no more wrath to pour out. (II Cor. 5:17-21). Then the passage you just quoted..."“He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.” (NKJV). So, is God still wrath-full or has He completely satisfied His wrath in Christ? I know the direct implication is that we are to "plead" as Paul does for sinners to be reconciled and not to reject the finished work of Christ. Thoughts?
