Many of us at Southeastern Seminary are pretty big fans of Ken Myers, who is responsible for Mars Hill Audio. Myers is one of the sharpest cultural critics within American evangelicalism. He has lectured at SEBTS on a couple of occasions in recent years in conjunction with the Bush Center for Faith and Culture. You can watch an interview with Myers conducted by SEBTS philosopher and former Bush Center director Bruce Little.
Andrew Ferguson of The Weekly Standard has written an insightful profile on Myers and his ministry. You should read the profile, check out Mars Hill Audio, and read Myers’s excellent book All God’s Children and Blue Suede Shoes: Christians and Popular Culture. I read the latter during my doctoral studies, and it has fundamentally shaped the way I think about faith and culture.
