Perhaps a former President had this day in mind when he said “Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other” (John Adams, Oct. 11, 1798). A silent church is a dead church. The Constitution has become inadequate because the church, in its current state, has become inadequate to reverse the rebellion and moral decay of our time.

What is odd is the fact that to find something offensive, the Obama people had to go back 20 years. At least John the Baptist kept his offensiveness up to date.

Thanks for the article! I think that if a spiritual awakening doesn’t come soon, persecution of Christians probably will. Christ went to the cross alone for us; we should be willing to take a stand for Him if we have to. Even though, it may not make us very popular in society.

Also, we should stand behind Christians,like Louie Giglio and others who are publicly taking a stand for Christ in a loving, but truthful way.

Society is constantly changing. God does not change. What was true in His Word in the past is still true today. His Word is eternal.

Until this country turns back to God and puts Him first it will continue to decline at a more rapid rate than it’s already doing. There seems to be very little fear of God in this country and it is so sad. We will all stand accountable one day for the decisions we have made. Will you stand for God and His ways or will you stand for mans way.
